It all started in 2015 on a trip to the Rose Valley in Bulgaria and then to the Spice Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey. Whole Damascus rosebuds, each more fragrant and colorful than the next, were sold there in bulk to make tea and other culinary delights.
Inspired by the beauty of nature, the seed sprouted. Passionate about botany, natural health and gastronomy, and with a Bachelor's degree in NeuroScience, it was time to go back to my roots. Back in Quebec, my partner Pierre and I wanted to recreate at home the gastronomic refinement of whole flower teas and herbal teas. And that's how FloralTea was born.
