Elderberry-Jito Mocktail

New variation of the mojito... discover the Sureau-jito! Made with elderflower herbal tea, it's the perfect mocktail to quench your thirst and reinvent summer!

The Elderberry-Jito is the non-alcoholic version of our Hugo Cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 15-30 ml elderberry syrup *
  • 4-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 fresh lime, cut in 2
  • 100-150 ml sparkling water (Harrington Botanic Wintergreen suggested)
  • Ice cubes

Manual

  • In a large glass, put the mint leaves and crush them gently.
  • Squeeze the 2 halves of the lime into the glass to extract the juice.
  • Add 1-2 tablespoons of Elderberry syrup (or more to your taste)
  • Add ice cubes and fill the glass with sparkling water.
  • Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint & a slice of lime

* Elderberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 8-10 g of Elderberry FloralTea herbal tea
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 400 ml of boiling water

Manual

  • In your FloralTea infuser bottle (or any other 500 ml container), add the herbal tea, sugar and boiling water (slowly).
  • Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Let sit for 10 to 20 minutes.
  • Place in the fridge for 8 hours (or overnight).
  • Filter the syrup into a storage container.
  • The syrup will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks.
